AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): As Trinamool Congress has continued Rakhi-Bandhan celebrations in the state, chanting with "Joy Tripura Slogan" also continued for the whole day.

Public support was felt for the Trinamool, whereas a rickshaw driver in Agartala raised slogans for Trinamool amid much political intimidation in the state.

Bengal's top Trinamool leaders led the programmes statewide. The Rakhi Bandhan festival will continue for a week.

From poor men to police officials, all were covered under the Rakhi Bandhan festival.
