AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): Power disruption from 2 pm in parts of Agartala city generated anger among local people. Suffered people have alleged the negligence of Electricity Department behind the disruption.

Reportedly, in Haradhan Sangha area from 2 pm power cut has been faced but even after  six hours passed, power did not return, which has generated huge resentment among local people.

A shopkeeper in the area said the power was disrupted due to disturbances in Transformer but even after crossing for a long time the Transformer issue was not fixed.

The shopkeeper alleged, he has not seen any worker of Electric department in the area which provoked angst.
