AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): 13 Km road which connects North Krishnapur to Moharchara area through Madra Chowmuhani in the Teliamura RD block under Khowai remains in a miserable situation.

Locals claimed, the pitch from Northkrishnapur to Madra Chowmuhani road has gone up and now the road remains in terrible shape, resulting locals facing difficulties to move on this road. Due to this pathetic shape of road, vehicle riders face troubles, often minor or major accidents have been occurring on this road. Two Schools are there in the nearby area and students face troubles to move on this road during monsoon season as during monsoon water filled the ditches.

Several times the villagers complained to the Panchayat members to repair the road but no positive initiative was taken allegedly. Now the locals demanded the road should be repaired immediately, so that they can move freely.
