AGARTALA, August 16 (TIWN): In broad daylight, in a crowded area, Battala Bazar a man was hit hardly on head by some unknown miscreants.

The victim man has been identified as Subal Das (45), son of Prabhat Das. He was found lying with bloodshed in critical condition in Battala Bazar. Later, Pedestrians informed the Fire Department and fire service personnel rescued and took the injured Subal to GB Hospital in critical condition.

According to Subal Das, the deadly attack on him occurred because he refused to bring 10 bottles water for some unknown people. He was attacked on the head by hard timber pile.
