AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): In yet another incident the Trinamool Congress leaders including MP Dola Sen, Aprupa Poddar, State member Tapan Dutta, Premtosh Debnath were brutally attacked by BJP miscreants at Thaibung Bazaar while hoisting the national flag and party flag in front of Sabroom Police Station at 11:30 am on Sunday.

In this incident several Trinamool Congress workers got injured. Later, the Trinamool Congress leaders, including the MP, somehow escaped from the place. The whole incident was taken place infront of Sabroom police station but as usual, no action was taken by police against the miscreants.

It came to know that the miscreants also attacked several journalists went to the spot to capture the incident.  Two journalists from the sub-division, Bijan Chakraborty and Trideep Pal, along with other sub-divisional representatives faced severe obstacles by the miscreants while collecting videos of the attack.
