AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): Trinamool MP Aparupa Poddar has countered BJP's propaganda machinery against Trinamool saying, what Trinamool can do everyone has seen in West Bengal 2021 poll, where BJP top leaders with their full efforts could not win over Mamata Banerjee. The MP denied to give any comment over party decisions on Tripura poll but lambasted Modi and Amit Shah stating that in the entire country anyone who has denied to go by BJP's decision or has become BJP's slave, they often have faced dire consequences. Today many Trinamool leaders have arrived in Tripura aimed to celebrate "Khela Suru" programme keeping the 2023 Assembly Election ahead. She further said that Mamata Banerjee is now emerging as the national opposition face for the 2024 General Election and Trinamool is confident to defeat Tripura BJP just like the Bengal poll. Â

Today Trinamool top leaders have arrived from West Bengal to stand with the families who have been facing political as well as administrative threats under Biplab Deb Govt.
However, as per All India Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee's assurance given to all Trinamool members in Tripura, since 2nd August there has not been a single day when at least one of the Trinamool national leaders is not residing in Tripura.
Trinamool has said that the party will fight back the BJP both politically and legally.
