AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Trinamool MP Dr Santanu Sen who has arrived in Tripura today to support Trinamool families whose family members are arrested by police, placed a deputation to DGP Tripura V.S. Yadav today. Addressing the media before the Police Headquarter, MP Dr. Santanu Deb said, "In Tripura attacked victims are arrested but not the attackers. This system has been nurtured by Biplab Deb........I want to ask Biplab Deb, how many times he wakes up from sleep remembering Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee out of fear. Yesterday police not only entered the Trinamool members' home lying about the police station address but also assaulted lady family members. Without any lady police official, the male police entered the housewife's room even though she was repeatedly saying, there is no man with her. Later, threatening harassment in lockup, they were arrested from their homes".
