AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): With bloodshed and deep injury on head, a 65 years old man’s dead body was recovered from his own house at Vivekananda area, Amtali.

The deceased was identified as Jagbandhu Chakraborty, 65 years old. Jagbandhu’s neighbour first spotted his dead body behind his house at Vivekananda area, Amtali. Immediately his neighbour informed the demise family and local PS. Getting information Police rushed to the spot, rescued the body and sent to GB hospital for an autopsy.

A deep injury mark was noticed on his head. It has been suspected that he was killed after being hit on the head with a stick. His neighbour said he has survived alone at his house and his two daughters are married and a son stays in another house.

Police lodged a case of unnatural death and started investigation.
