AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): While connecting TV plug with an electric board, lightning struck a 15 years old boy, left him critically injured.

The injured boy was identified as Rony Pal, son of Babul Pal of Subhash Nagar area of Netaji Subhash Nagar Panchayat in Belonia. Unlike every day on Thursday after lunch, while Rony was connecting TV plug with an electric board, lightning suddenly struck and Rony fell on the ground.

Immediately his family  took him to Belonia Sub-Divisional Hospital, from where he was referred to Gomati Sub-Divisional Hospital, where on-duty Doctors noticing his deteriorating health condition referred him to Agartala GB Hospital.

Presently, he is undergoing treatment at GB hospital and his condition is critical. He is a student of Class-IX
