AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): After the attack on Abhishek Banerjee on 2nd August, it has been 72 hours now but police failed to take action against the miscreants. In protest, Trinamool held a massive movement in Agartala today.

Kunal Ghosh said, “If we wanted, we could have brought many members of our party in the protest and block the road, but we don’t want any disturbance in the city. We just want to continue our peaceful protest but Police are stopping us from even placing a deputation”.

A verbal fight occurred among Police and TMC members and after a long argument Police allowed 3 to 4 TMC members to place a memorandum at West PS. 

Kunal Ghosh said, "If Police arrest our members who visited PS to place deputation then we will block the road permanently. He also added, why is the Biplab Deb in fear? They arrested the I-PAC team and then organised attacks by using BJP miscreants in Abhishek Banerjee’s convoy and now we are not even permitted to protest" !!
