AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): Bangali Chatra Juba Samaj has condemned Police brutality which was displayed after students gathered at Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath's home demanding everyone should be passed in TBSE Board exams.
Demanding result-review, the Chatra Juba Samaj said Tripura Govt should follow the Central Education Board in result declaration.
"Students are the future of the country. Due to Covid-19 no proper coaching could be given to the students but the online teaching also deprived rural and poor students. After the result came out, consequently protests erupted statewide. Students have demanded 100% pass. We demand that the State Govt should follow the central board's result method", said the organization.
The organization further demanded that new admission should be paused for now.
"We also demand that the cases which have been imposed on students yesterday, the cases should be withdrawn immediately. We condemn the brutality of the administration on the students', said a leader of Bangali Chatra Juba Samaj.
