AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Police's negligence on their duty successfully helped an accused in a theft case to escape from Hospital premises. The incident occurred in Belonia.

Reportedly, Solar Lights have been installed in various gram panchayats of Hrishyamukh block to facilitate the movement of people. It is learned that three persons were arrested Belonia by Police in connection with stealing Solar Lights batteries from Amjad Nagar and Jharjhari areas under Hrishyamukh block and among three, two accused were taken to Belonia Hospital on Sunday morning for covid test.

At that time the two accused Hira Chan and Ibrahim Mia who were kept under tight security of Police and TSR forces in the Hospital successfully had taken the opportunity during Hira Chan's Covid Test, the accused Ibrahim Mia escaped from the hospital premises.

Meanwhile, after Ibrahim’s escape huge Police forces were deployed to find him out.
