AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Police have arrested 10323 teachers when they were protesting at Circuit House, Agartala maintaining social distance.
In the tussle with police, teacher Kamal Deb was injured. Few lady teachers also received minor injuries.
Lashing out at the State Govt, teacher Bijoy Krishna Saha said, "Govt is unable to follow the rule. When we are obeying rules, how undemocratically police are arresting us. Our colleague Kamal Deb was injured.......Till now we have not received any termination letter. How can a Govt act so undemocratically ?"
