Agartala / New Delhi, July 22 (TIWN): After massive defeat in ADC Election as IPFT got ZERO seats, now Mebar Jamatia led a delegation to Union Home Minister Amit Shah with various demands at New Delhi.
Visit's purpose is being aimed at reviving IPFT before 2023 Assembly Election but that chance is remote as IPFT is already collapsing after IPFT MLA Brishketu Debbarma's joining in Tipra Motha Party.
On the other side, state BJP this time hardly to give 4 to 5 seats to IPFT in the 2023 Assembly Election as all the seats which IPFT fought in ADC had lost with Tipra Motha party though IPFT in ADC Poll shared more seats than BJP but could not win a single one.
Apart from IPFT MLA, top IPFT leaders, youth members are towards the Tipra Motha party and IPFT right now has zero support in the ADC areas. IPFT thus is trying its best to stay in the political picture as BJP indigenous wing had already said before ADC Poll, there is no need any any alliance with IPFT.
