AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Mutilated body of a 55 years’ old man was recovered in the area adjacent to Jogendra Nagar railway station.
The body was first spotted by local people and then informed police.
The deceased person has been identified as Birendra Pal, 55 years old, a tea seller, resident of Tekroi Chowmuhani area.
It was immediately informed to the Police and upon receiving the death news the Police force and RPF Jawans rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
initial investigation Police suspected that the man was hit by ‘Kanchanjunga Express’.
However, Police registered a case and on recovering the unnatural death of a man has triggered tension in the area among local people.
