AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): A truck driver stabbed his co-driver with a sharp knife centering mobile phone issue.

Reportedly, a man named Sanjay Bauri(Driver) stabbed his co-driver Amrit Bauri for not giving mobile Phone. As a result Amrit received serious injury. Later, Police rescued the injured Amrit and took him to GB Hospital for treatment.

However, the injured Amrit in hospital complained against Police that the police of Maharajganj outpost in exchange of Rs 2000 from the driver, Sanjay Bauri released him and taking this opportunity Sanjay got chance to flee away.

It is known that both the drivers, Sanjay Bauri and Amrit Bauri, are residents of Bardhaman district, West Bengal.
