AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Injured CPI-M MLA Sudhan Das was referred to GB hospital.

He was admitted to GB hospital as his health was serious.

The CPI-M MLA was injured in a brutal attack by BJP miscreants at Belonia Rajnagar.

The attack took place when CPI-M members were protesting against petrol price hikes. 

The MLA's two body guards and many CPI-M members were attacked in that incident.  Leader Bhajan Das and Sudhan Das's wife Jaya Banerjee were also severely injured.   

Total 4 to 5 persons were seriously injured in this incident.
