AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): A blood donation camp has been organized at CITU’s state office at the initiative of Rickshaw Workers Union.

The blood donation camp was organised at the initiative of Rickshaw Workers union.

Former CM, while delivering speech said before media, due to the Corona Curfew Riskshaw drivers are going through severe crisis as they cannot move their Rickshaw after 2 Pm as per Government guidelines.

In this pandemic crisis situation the rickshaw drivers are facing difficulties to run their families, could not get food properly but then after the rickshaw drivers responded extensively in the Blood Donation camp for donating blood.

Amid this crisis situation the way rickshaw drivers joined the blood donation camp, it cannot compare with other blood donation campaigns.

Sarkar further said, in the blood donation campaign miscreants have been attacking the blood donation camps, which is sign of cowardice act, but could not stop the campaign.
