AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga HQ 21 Sector of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised yoga for all ranks and families on 21 Jun 2021 at Agartala, Radhanagar, Kadamtala, Haflong and Lokra locations. A total of 38 Offrs, 142 JCOs and 1463 troops of the formation have participated in the program.

Other then this ladies and children of the formation have also participated in the event via video call. 228 Children of Assam Rifles Public schools at respective locations have also participated online.

Importance and benefits of Yoga was explained to all before the culmination of program.

Necessary precautionary measures wrt COVID-19 were adhered to during the conduct of the event.
