AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): While learning to drive, Debasish Roy, a resident of Dasamighat area has hit pedestrians and a shop in Joynagar.

It is learned that in the morning Debasish was learning to drive his WagonR car, numbered TR 01 BL 0559, from Dasamighat to Akhaura road through the Joynagar Road no. 6 during office hours today. Losing control, Debasish hit a Rickshaw, a pedestrian, and a shop allegedly near Naboday Sangha club following which the locals stopped his car and captured him.

Later, being informed, the Battala police rushed to the spot and arrested him. According to the locals, the people walking across the road survived due to luck.
