AGARTALA, June 11(TIWN): A 60-year-old woman was seriously injured in a collision with a doctor's car in Khowai Motor Stand area. The doctor admitted she brought a new car and does not have driving licence.

According to the details of the incident, a doctor of Khowai Rampura Hospital, Priyanka Debbarma hit a woman named Sandhya Rani Roy while she was going to the hospital in her car.

The seriously injured woman was rescued by locals and was taken to the Khowai Hospital and the on duty doctors referred Sandhya to Agartala GB hospital. 

It is learned the woman received serious injuries in her both legs. The injured woman's son said after being brought to GB hospital the doctor fled away from the GB hospital premises. He also said the Doctor hit his mother with her new vehicle, and also she admitted she does not have a driving license.  Injured woman’s son says he would file a case against the Doctor
