AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): In the Dularia area of Kalyanpur, an unemployed youths consumed poison yesterday. Seeing his condition, his mother too consumed poisoned. Though they were hospitalized but nobody could survive.

According to the family members, the son, named Samar Debbarma was a graduate and was depressed for a long period due to his unemployment. The family received no support from the government to sustain. On the verge of losing livelihood, after Samar had a short argument with his mother, Kumari Debbarma last night, he consumed poison. Seeing this, the mother also drank the poison to end her life.

At first, both the mother and the son were taken to Kalyanpur Hospital, being their condition critical, they were referred to the GB Hospital today. On their way, Samar lost his life, and after receiving her initial treatment at GB hospital, the mother died as well.

However, their untimely demise has cast a shadow of mourn in the family.
