AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): Youth congress and Mohila Congress today staged a protest against the continuous rising fuel rates in the vicinity of Dugga Bari BOC.

The protest was held by the local units of the Congress party by showing placards. The unprecedented economic slowdown, the rising unemployment and skyrocketing prices of crude oil have become heavy on vehicle riders. Every week the petrol and diesel prices spike up amid Covid epidemic and rising unemployment rate. A congress leader said price hiked on edible oils too, which became heavy on common citizens.

If the price of crude oil is not reduced then the party will demonstrate massive protest, said Congress leaders.
