BELONIA, June 10 (TIWN): Baikhora police have seized a vehicle bearing number TR03N 0352 which was being used to loot a rubber shop.

The incident took place at Belonia Baikhora BSF camp area.

The thieves entered the shop by breaking the lock and collected the items along with a cash of Rs. 3 lakhs were seized. 

By that time, the owner of the shop Uday Shankar Debnath had woken up from sleep. He called his two brothers. The looters had sharp weapons and by injuring 3 of them they managed to escape. 

Then local people started arriving on the spot but by that time, the robbers left the area.

The vehicle has been seized by Police.
