AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Tripura traditionally has been under Malaria disease's grip.
Though this year all focus has been zoomed to the Coronavirus, the Health Dept is not leaving any space for malaria like disease's uncontrolled spread.
Aimed to control the malaria disease, Tripura Health Dept has started malaria testing house to house specially in villages, deep ADC areas and Jhumia families.
Blood testing has been going on and the Health workers are walking 10 to 12 kms per day to complete the testing process. At the same time, Covid vaccination drive is simultaneously taking place.
People are reportedly cooperating with the health workers throughout the state.
