TIWN June 9, 2021

AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): It is to be noted that leaders and activists are often seen campaigning for Swachh Bharat Mission with placards around their necks and brooms in their hands. But in reality, their aim remains stagnant for the rest of the year. In the middle of the 5th and 6th streets of Bishalgarh Municipal Council, locals are outraged as there is a long pile of garbage and the rotten stench of dead dogs and cats has made people’s life miserable in the area.
The people of the area claimed that despite informing the municipal council several times to clear the pile of garbage and the rotten body of a dog is lying with the pile but no one showed concern. At present, the leaders of the area are pretending not to see such a situation in the area and are walking away with handkerchiefs on their noses.
However, the locals now demanded before the camera to the Bishalgarh Municipal Council to clean up the pile of the garbage immediately.
