AGARTALA, June 9(TIWN): Biplab Deb’s smart city turned into death trap, local traders to labourers, pedestrians are facing huge trouble while moving at Maharajganj Bazar. The Concerned authority is in deep slumber, no initiative has taken to rebuild the terrible road. The local traders of Mahrarajganj Bazar resented the terrible condition of road.

Confronted to the media, the local traders claimed that since the last 15-20 years the road has remained the same and many times deputation was placed to the Municipal Corporation to repair the road. But the officials had observed many times before with an assurance the road will be rebuilt but yet no initiative has taken allegedly, resulting the daily labourers, pedestrians facing huge trouble while moving in the area. Allegedly, due to no drainage system waterlogged in the area during monsoon. The local traders of Maharajganj Bazar demanded the authority should take initiative to rebuild the road immediately.  Now it remains to be seen whether the road will be repaired immediately or the concerned authority would be procrastinated.
