AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): IPFT has lost its women wing's major support as IPFT women wing's General Secretary Swapna Debbarma has joined TIPRA Motha party with other women activists. This landslide happened today during TIPRA Motha's official announcement on Women Wing formation. IPFT is in alliance with BJP and has two Cabinet Ministers but IPFT has recently lost badly in the ADC Poll and TIPRA Motha led by Tripura Royal Scion Pradyot Manikya has won ADC Poll. This newly formed party before election did not even formed its youth, women wings but received massive public support and a lanslide victory. Today after few days of official announcement about Youth Federation, now TIPRA Women Federation has been announced by Pradyot Manikya, chairman of TIPRA Motha. Pradyot Manikya said that he will personally monitor this women wing and give them equal value like other wings. Pradyot Manikya stated other parties generally keep the women wing for namesake whereas without women, no organization / party can get success.
Talking about the ongoing conflict between BJP-IPFT Govt at State and TIPRA Motha led council, Pradyot Manikya said that differences between leaders should not affect the developmental work and common men should not be subjected to suffer.
He also expressed resentment over parties which talk about 'more power to ADC but try to suppress it'.
Reacting over queries on alliance in Assembly Poll, Manikya said that there is no such talk with Congress or any other party as Greater Tipraland will not be compromised.
He also remembered the June-riot of Tripura when all communities people died.
