AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): For not wearing helmet, two youths were severely beaten by TSR with sticks during a search operation in Ramthakur Sangha area led by the OC of Maharajganj Bazar PS.

The two injured have been identified as Banti Ghosh and Sukanta Banik. Both are residents of Madhuban, Dukli.

It is known the two youths were going to the market. After the incident, the fire service personnel had taken them to GB hospital.

The youths are severely injured and Banti Ghosh needed stitches on head.

The victim’s family strongly condemned such brutal behaviour of TSR but said, they will not file any case but expect the Govt to take action against the TSR jawan.
