AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb's right-hand-man Ratan Lal Nath who earlier was also accused for all intrigues against former Minister Badal Chowdhury and holding various violence in state, now again has been labeled as vendetta-politics-mastermind against senior communist leaders over their Facebook posts. Former CPI-M Minister, former MP, Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) President Jitendra Choudhury was summoned to Amtali Police Station centering a Facebook post. Two other CPI-M leaders Bijan Dhar, MLA Bhanulal Saha were also called in different police stations and they were also interrogated by police. Coming out of the Amtali Police Station, Jitendra Chowdhury was asked by media, whether there is any intrigue sensed behind the FIRs against the Communist leaders. In reply, Choudhury said, "Ofcouse these are to harass the CPI-M leaders because my post was extremely simple. It was not any instigation but in our state the senior most Minister Narendra Chandra Debbarma publicly is commenting that there is no Rule of Law existing in state". Â
"When huge numbers of attacks are going on including Doctors, Nurses, Police officers, media persons so a trend emerged in social media as "Sesh-sesh-sesh" which means Democracy is Ended. I just reacted against the trend and asked to end this "End", which means to restore Democracy and to finish the culture of anti-social elements in state. But unfortunately, a Minister who is supposed to safeguard the citizens, is provoking from the Secretariat. He is the mastermind behind all these", added Jitendra Choudhury.
