AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): In Rakhiram Para of West Kalabaria Gram Panchayat, under Bilonia Sub-division, a power transformer is left in a dangerous condition for the past two months. Half portion of the transformer went beneath the soil.

Despite informing the village head and the Electrical department innumerable times, the issue was not solved. Besides, the road to the village is left in a miserable condition and incase anyone or the vehicles that run over that road slips it will fall over the transformer which might cause a serious accident.     

After a long two months of wait for the TSECL officials, the villagers took on media urging the administration to take a step immediately. All the houses near the transformer are spending their days in panic as there is a risk of a major accident at any time.
