AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): In an anti-liquor raid, Maharajganj Bazar police raided the market area and recovered both country and foreign liquor, arrested 5 unlicensed liquor sellers.

Talking about the raid, the OC said, “We are carrying out anti-gambling raids and anti-liquor raids for a long time. Today acting on a tip-off we raided the Maharajganj Bazar area and recovered around 80 liters of both country and foreign liquor the market value of which is assumed to be over Rs. 20,000 and arrested 5 unlicensed liquor sellers.”

 “We will continue to conduct such raids in coming days”, he added.
