AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): Based on secret information last night seven drug mafias were arrested from NandanNagar SenPara along with a large quantity of narcotics items by NCC PS under the leadership of Priya Madhuri. Accordingly a case was also filed against them under the NDPS Act. But the police were obstructed by several BJP leaders and Yuva Morcha leaders while the drug mafias were produced to court from the NCC PS premises on Friday.

The BJP leaders claimed that the police had not received anything from the six arrested mafias and claimed police fabricated the incident and took signatures on paper from them.

Obstructing the on duty Police officials by BJP workers again shows no law and order left in the state and police are threatened after arresting mafias just because they belong to BJP Party.
