AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): Is Tripura truly Nesha Mukta?? The concept of Nesha Mukt Tripura is only in words, reality describes the different scenarios. Illegal trade of liquor is running drastically throughout the state amid Police's much attempts to control the illegal sales.

Last night around 9 Pm, AD Nagar police received information that a man was selling foreign liquor at Milanchanchakra, secluded area. Based on this secret information police raided the said spot and found huge quantity of foreign liquor including beer bottles.

The police arrested the liquor seller Bishnu Ghosh from Milan Chakra area and recovered a large quantity of foreign liquor from him. 

Biplab Deb’s much-hyped “Nesha Mukta Tripura” stays only in words, as drug smugglers to illegal liquor sellers have built their high empire in reality.
