AGARTALA, june 2 (TIWN): Subir Sutradhar, an innocent youth was seriously injured after being beaten up by the BJP leader in Gopalnagar area of Kalyanpur village, Khowai.

According to the details of the incident, Subir Sutradhar, 35 years old a resident of Gopalnagar area of Kalyanpur, Khowai was beaten up by Vill Pradhan, Jhantu Pal including many other local people of that area. The victim’s family claimed that while Jhantu was on his way to home at night his bike was collided with Subir and then the Vill Panchayat fell on the ground. Centering this issue the village Pradhan, including many other area locals, severely hit Subir.

Later the victim’s family members rescued the young man and took him to Kalyanpur Hospital, as he needed 3 stitches on his head.  But as his condition deteriorated he was referred to Agartala GB Hospital for better treatment, he is currently undergoing treatment at GB.

The injured youth's mother said that a case would be filed against the criminals.
