AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): “On May 16 based on information we received about some miscreants roaming freely with weapons in the Gangaram area, we raided Jatindra Debbarma’s home and recovered some guns, camouflage uniforms, sharp weapons, and other illicit materials. We could not catch Jatindra as he fled away.

Later last night knowing from a secret source that Jatindra S/O Samen Debbarma was roaming with his scooty near his house in the Mandai area, the Srinagar Police and the Mandai TSR force detained him from his house and recovered few more sets of camouflage uniforms, 2 pistols and a gun from his scooty. The accused was produced at the court today” said Srinagar PS OC.

“After we conducted the preliminary interrogation, Jatindra revealed that more 6-7 youths are indulged with him”, he asserted.
