AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): At the initiative of Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital, the vaccination program for 18 to 44-year-olds was started today from 8 am. People rushed from the different parts of the Sabroom area to the Hospital to get this vaccine.

But the unfortunate thing is that the people standing in line were seen not obeying the basic COVID protocols. There was no social distance and some of the people were not wearing masks even.

 “Despite repeated calls from security guards, police and health officials the general public is reluctant to listen which means that there is no awareness among the people yet”, claimed sub-divisional nodal officer, Dr. Saumik Hajra.
