AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): According to the police, the locals near the Howrah river dam near Steel Bridge informed them after seeing an unknown man lying unconscious on the roadside. The police soon rushed to the spot and found the man lying unconscious for overconsumption of alcohol. A police official named Sudip Kumar Banik sprinkled water on his face to bring him back in senses. The unknown man’s name, phone number, address, and designation were recovered from the identity card he was wearing.

The police revealed his name is Sajal Kumar Deb, a resident of the Bankumari area who is working in the Kunjaban D W S office of the state government.

Taking his phone number from the ID card the police informed his family members to take him home.
