AGARTALA, May 27 (TIWN): Police of Baikhora police station recovered a large quantity of British liquor based on secret information.

As the police said, at around 12 O'Clock today, the Baikhora police received a report that foreign liquor was being illegally stored in a water factory at Bairakhora East Charakbai Ananda Vaidya Para after which the police conducted a joint operation with the staff of the Axis Department and recovered 38 cartons and 6 bottles of foreign liquor of different brands from the water godown the market value of which is said to be around Rs.1.5 lakhs.

 However, the Police could not arrest anyone who is indulged in the crime. Baikhora Police Station's newly promoted OC Gopal Shukla Das told the media about this and assured that such campaigns will continue in the coming days.
