AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Every day minor and major accidents occur in the nook and corner of the state and it becomes common due to reckless driving. Once again a young man was seriously injured in a road accident, the incident took place in Tuisindrai area under Teliamura PS.

According to the details of the incident, a youth named Bikram Datta, 26 years old collided head-on with a vehicle on his way to home on the Assam-Agartala NH in the Tuisindrai Bazar area under Teliamura PS at around 12.30 pm on Wednesday. The injured youth, Bikram residing at Rajnagar area under Teliamura PS S/o- Apu Datta, after collision he fell off from his scooty, on hearing loud noise of the accident local people came and informed to Fire Department.

Upon receiving the news, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot, rescued the injured youth and took him to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment. As his condition was critical, he was referred to Agartala,GB hospital for better treatment.

On the other hand, centering everyday’s major and minor accidents in various areas at Teliamura sub-division, raising various questions on the role of the traffic system.
