AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): After requesting multiple times, BJP led Tripura Govt did not overcome its deafness to listen to the pleas of the poor sections of people.
The E-Rickshaw workers placed 6 demands before the West District Magistrate including Govt's intervention to stop the interest imposition by the Banks amid Covid-19 crisis.
Today once again the E-Rickshaw drivers held a protest and told the Govt if it has any plan for further lockdown / curfew, then it must think of alternatives about the poor sections of people.
The rickshaw drivers alleged that due to a Bank's pressure, a worker has died recently.
Also, 2020 Covid 1st Wave's promised financial help was not given to the workers.
