AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): BJP MLA, Former Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman has criticized the Health Dept under Biplab Deb for its failure in proper management.

Sudip Barman has accused the Food Suppliers for providing pathetic food with substandard quality to the patients which are often thrown by the patients.

Sudip Roy Barman was questioned about his outlook about the Covid situation and he said, there are lots of lack of monitoring in GB hospital and various other centres.

He mentioned, how he has to call various Doctors after getting requests from common men.

Sudip Barman said, "The persons who are in Home Isolation should also be monitored. In GB hospital patients are often seen waiting for hours and many of them then call me. Everyday, there are similar cases I experience. What about the food ? People are throwing such foods as they are not consumable. A patient need high-protein diet but what they are giving is just uneatable. Even there is no one to change the bed sheet and dirty clothes of the patients".
