AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman has demanded immediate suspension of local trains as it is increasing chances of transmission.Â
Addressing the media today evening, Barman said that though the State Govt has ensured testing for the long distance trains but there is no step taken to control the Covid spread within the state through the local trains.
He has demanded local trains must be stopped for sometime.
In West Bengal already local trains are fully stopped amid lockdown.
Talking about the poor class people, Sudip Roy Barman demanded proper help to the poor and also proper care to the Home Isolated persons.
He expressed resentment over the system of Covid management in GB hospital. GB hospital comes under Sudip Barman's constituency.
MLA Sudip Roy Barman also condemned the poor food quality in the Covid centres.
