AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): A terrible fire broke out at Tulashikhar Bazaar under Champahaor PS in a grocery shop. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

Other traders of the Tulashikhar Bazaar came to the spot around 5 am on Friday and saw a devastating fire engulfed in Bikash Debbarma's grocery store. Immediately it was informed to fire department, but the devastating fire was brought under control due to the efforts of the local people. Though the fire was brought under control, but all the items inside the shop were burnt into ashes.

After primary investigation it is suspected the fire may be caught from a short circuit but the fire incident is being investigated. The damage amount of the devastating fire is estimated around Rs 2,5 lakhs.

However, the police have started investigating the fire incident.
