AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): After IPFT Minister NC Debbarma was attacked in Jampuijala yesterday, TIPRA Motha Chief Pradyot Manikya has taken a stern action and expelled party member Sarna Tripura and said, whoever will be participating in such activities will be brought under legal action.

Pradyot Manikya has also declared legal action against Sarna Tripura, saying, no hooliganism will be tolerated in the party. 

In a social media update, Pradyot Manikya said, "There will be no more tolerance to goondas! Have suspended the main culprit Sarna Tripura from the party membership and also handed him over to police ! He had joined TIPRA Motha just three weeks before elections from IPFT . I want to make an example by ensuring these actions will not be tolerated".

This action came after 85 years old senior politician, IPFT President cum Minister NC Debbarma was attacked yesterday at Jampuijala with TIPRA Motha workers who were raising "Go Back" slogan against him and carrying black-flags. 

Recently a similar attack took place on former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar by BJP Party which was more violent with stone-pelting at Santir Bazar.
