AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): The body of a BJP worker named Rana Mohan Tripura was recovered early in the morning today. He was a resident of Chalta Chhara's Devendra Royaja Para in Chawmanu RD Block of North Tripura, a daily wager by profession.

Based on details, Rana left his home at around 9:00 last night and did not return. Later today, his body was found in the morning about 2 kilometers away from his home with signs of injury in different parts of his body which clearly stated that he was killed with a sharp weapon. 

The victim is survived by his wife and 3 children. His wife alleged that he was killed by the Tipra Motha Party members.

However, the Chaumanu police are investigating the incident. BJP MDC Hangsa Kumar Tripura strongly condemned the incident and demanded a proper investigation.
