AGARTALA, May 18(TIWN): Dead body of a man was recovered with injury marks at Chawmonu, wife alleged the man was brutally killed over political revenge.

The deceased person has been identified as Rana Mamohan Tripura, resident at Chalta Chhara Devendra Royaja Para in Chawmonu RD Block of North Tripura was killed.

It is known, Rana Mohan Tripura left his house last night at around 9:30 pm and did not return home. After a long search his body was found on Tuesday morning 2kms away from his home.

He was killed with a sharp weapon as many marks of injuries have been seen on his different parts of the body.

The demise’s wife alleged over Political revenge he was killed brutally, Rana Mohan’s wife told media he was a BJP supporter.

It was informed to Chamanu PS, on receiving news police reached the spot and started investigating the incident.

However, the family demanded a proper investigation should be done.

Over spreading the death news tension generated over the area.
