335 New Covid Positive Cases Today in Tripura, 4 Deaths

AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): Tripura has recorded 335 new Covid positive cases and 4 deaths today.
Highest Covid cases were reported in the AMC areas and DM West thus has announced a 10 days curfew in the AMC areas.
National Covid cases rates are also alarming.
India, in the last 24 hours, recorded 2,81,386 new Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry update showed on Monday. With this, the total tally reached 24,965,463. The case count has fallen below the 3-lakh mark for the first time in 25 days. However, 4,106 people succumbed to the disease in the said period, which pushed up the death toll to 274,390. The number of active cases have dropped to 3,516,997 from Sunday’s 3,618,458 — the biggest single day drop ever.
