BELONIA (South Tripura), May 15 (TIWN): A crisis of corona vaccine is reported in Belonia sub-divisional hospital. With the Covid vaccination started for the age-group of 18+ the Covid vaccine crisis was reported at the Belonia Sub-Divisional Hospital.

Outrage has seen among vaccine recipients after standing in line for hours since 9am over shortage of vaccines.

Later the authority officially declared that due to shortage of vaccine it is not possible to vaccinate everyone, those who were waiting in a line for hours to get vaccinated. Centering this issue, resentment has seen among vaccine recipients.

Various questions are being raised like -  If there is shortage of vaccines then why was the authority not informed earlier to the vaccine recipients? And also if there is a shortage, then why are the authorities not giving tokens to the vaccine recipients for next vaccination?

Besides this, it was noticed no social distance was maintained among the vaccine recipients in Belonia Subdivisional hospital when they got angry after vaccine crisis was reported.
