AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): 17-year-old youth, Subhankar Vaidya, son of Gopal Vaidya residing in Charakbai area of Baikhora hanged himself in his house on Thursday afternoon.

Talking to the family members, they said that Subhankar wanted to go to Tripureswari temple today with his friends but due to the pandemic his father forbade him to go there. 

Then unfortunately within a couple of hours, taking a desperate attempt, Subhankar allegedly hanged himself inside his room. Soon, after the incident, the police of Baikhora PS rushed to the spot and took his body to Baikhora Primary Health Center for autopsy.

However, the untimely death of young Subhankar has cast a shadow of mourning over the entire area.
